Multiple CD Replication - 8 CD Set in 2-up Custom Tray

Multi disc (cd or dvd or both) sets with a large number of discs (4 to 8 disc set) can be packaged in a variety of ways, but one of the most popular ways for retail is the MegaTall DVD Set. This uses a combination of 5 inch trays, 2 up per panel, to create a tall 10 inch height package. If you have an odd number of discs, don't worry- we can create a panel with a foam filler that's fully printed. Alternately, we can use one 7inch tray per pane (called a Tall Digipak )l, or one 5inch per panel (Midheight Digipak ), or a Double Disc Digipak where the discs overlap slightly.

We can also use foam trays (can also be made to hold USB devices) or all natural paper trays (100% recycled paper, compressed, cork hub) to create Digipak s. Slipcases are a great finishing touch and helps hold packages together.

If you prefer more of a volume set approach, we can create sets with 2 to 4 discs in them, and then package in a slipcase to hold the individual volumes together. Very popular with books on disc.

Also available are alternate options such as binder pages and wallets, portfolio boxes, and oversized retail boxes.

Instructions: To build your package, choose quantity, disc, packaging, and assembly. Your final product can be modified to add extra discs, customized with special printing effects, modify packaging style, add booklets, etc. Feel free to use Project Notes below for clarification or if you get stuck.

Discs
Includes the manufacturing of pressed discs & disc printing.

Pressed discs- injection molding, (i.e., substrate is poured out into mold), metal layer with data is formed with metal stamper (made from glass master made from client master).

Recordable DVD-Rs are made with a special layer that allows you to write the content.
You may want to use DVD-Rs if you have a special need like frequently changing data.

Mini DVDs are 8cm round DVD5s.

Clear Substrate Discs - uses a mini disc mask with clear substrate out to the edges. Data Size will be small, physical size the same as a standard full size dvd.

Disc Manufacturing
Includes the manufacturing / data replication / pressing of discs from your supplied master.

Disc Printing
Up to 5-color offset from your art file (film production included). If you're not familiar with this, 5C is full color (many replicators allow only 3C in the price) and Offset Printing is the highest quality (gorgeous picture discs, almost always an extra charge - it's free here, part of our way of making sure these are WOW discs.)

Proof discs
Provided (pressed & printed) for your approval. We set up the press and manufacture & print your proof disc. It is the only way to make absolutely certain that it's perfect. We'll send to you for approval.
